first time setting this blog..
hoping this process correctly for me in public from blogger.com however i m using linux os, hoping someone signer/deaf help me out on how to use videocamera via usb for youtube.com or video.google.com by through quick capture for vlog. i have freespire and ubuntu(6.10). thanks in advance...

I have ubuntu on my home computers. What I did was extremely simple, though: I just used my sony camera which has a movie mode to record what I was saying, and then I downloaded that movie (just as I would with pictures) through the usb port and uploaded it without any editing.
For editing, Kino seems to be a good linux program for doing this.
If your problem is different (for example, you want to use a webcam), or you've had some other specific problem, I'd need to know more...
beg--thanks for comment,i am using canon zr 200. when i plug usb port, it didn't show any on screen of system>administration>device manager>(there is three list of usb diplay on it-done saying videocamera or canon)
